Meet Lawrence M. Kahn, a distinguished trial attorney and founder of LKLG. With a career spanning more than three decades, Larry has passionately fought to protect his clients.

Throughout his career, Larry has built a reputation as a tenacious advocate, securing numerous multi-million-dollar settlements and verdicts. His impressive track record includes handling high-profile cases where substantial financial compensation was obtained, accompanied by a profound recognition of the victim's loss and a commitment to making society safer.

Larry's dedication to his clients is evident in his meticulous approach to every case. Together with his team, he prepares each case for trial from the moment it lands on his desk. However, he is not quick to pursue trial, only resorting to it when there is no other choice. He understands that insurance companies, lurking behind every defendant, often seek to prevent full and fair justice. By demonstrating his readiness for trial, Larry negotiates settlements more effectively, driving the pursuit of justice while ensuring his clients' best interests are served.

Larry’s professional journey began at Jaman, Kahn & Associates in Beverly Hills, CA, where he served as Managing Partner & Trial Attorney from 1991 to 1999. During this time, Larry handled diverse cases ranging from real estate and labor & employment to business, personal injury, and general civil litigation. His leadership extended to supervising five associates and twenty-five staff members. A highlight of his career at the firm was securing a remarkable $2.1 Million Verdict in Chan v Chan’s Development.

Prior to this, Larry was an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Arthur Barens in Beverly Hills, CA, from 1988 to 1991. Here, he gained full case responsibility, skillfully managing real estate, labor, personal injury, business, and general civil litigation cases. A significant achievement during this period was a $1.7 million settlement in Garfield Estates v. Kowin Development Co.

Larry's career began at Perona, Langer and Beck in Long Beach, CA, where he served as an Associate Attorney from 1986 to 1988. He handled real estate, personal injury, business, and general civil litigation, and his responsibilities encompassed discovery, depositions, arbitrations, and second chair trial work. He excelled in numerous arbitrations, depositions, and settlements, honing his trial skills.

Before delving into private practice, Larry served as a law clerk for the California Attorney General's Office in Los Angeles, CA, from 1984 to 1986. During this period, he researched and drafted three-published criminal appellate briefs, contributing to the pursuit of justice at the appellate level.

Larry is licensed before state and federal courts in Washington and California, including the United States District Courts of the Southern District, Central District, and Northern District of California, as well as the Western District Court of Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

As an esteemed member of various legal associations, including the American Association for Justice, Washington State Association for Justice, The Million-Dollar Advocates Forum, and The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, Larry continues to make an indelible mark in the legal arena.
